Visiting the Museum


Chełmno

Tuesday–Sunday: 9am–3pm 
Monday: close 

The last visitors are admitted an half hour before the closing time. 

We would like to kindly inform you that the museum in the village of Chełmno is closed on the following public and religious holidays January 1st and 6th, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, the first day of Pentecost, Corpus Christi, August 15th, November 1st and 11th, 25th and 26th of December.

Guided tours in Polish:

Individual guests (up to 5 person) 30 PLN/person
Organized groups (more than 5 person) 200 PLN

 

Guided tours in English

Individual guests (up to 5 person) 40 PLN/person
Organized groups (more than 5 person) 300 PLN

 

Access

By coach from Koło or Łódź

A2 Motorway – Dąbie exit

Road 92 – exit in Koło, direction Dąbie - Uniejów

Rules   

The Museum may by visited either individually or in groups. Admission to the Museum is free of charge. While staying on the grounds of the Museum please respect the site and wear suitable clothes for memorial site.

On the grounds of the Museum it is strictly forbidden to:

  • touch the exhibits
  • behave noisily
  • use open fire and smoke
  • use mobile phones in the historic buildings
  • move around the area motor vehicles
  • brings animals (with the exception of guide dogs)
    visit the site under influence of alcohol and other intoxicants
